About the Foundation:
Year of establishment & core philosophy of IOIF:
The Indian Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation (IOIF) was established in 2018 as a registered nonprofit organisation to support, advocate for, and empower individuals living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta across India.
Core Philosophy:
At the heart of IOIF lies the belief that every individual, regardless of physical limitations, deserves dignity, inclusion, and the opportunity to thrive. We are guided by compassion, resilience, and the power of community—working together to break the barriers of isolation, misinformation, and inaccessibility faced by the OI community. By promoting awareness, early intervention, and inclusive support, IOIF strives to turn challenges into strength and differences into possibilities.
